MEET OUR DOCTOR

Dr. Winston Faltine FAGD, FICOI

Dr. Winston Faltine graduated cum laude from Texas A&M University with a degree in Biology before earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He went on to pursue extensive post-graduate training in Cosmetic Dentistry, Reconstructive Dentistry, Occlusion, and TMJ — logging over 1,000 hours of continuing education that keeps him at the leading edge of modern dentistry. He is among the youngest dentists in the nation to achieve Fellow status with the Academy of General Dentistry — an honor earned by fewer than 10% of dentists — and holds Fellow status with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI), reflecting his rigorous training and commitment to excellence in implant dentistry.

Dr. Faltine is passionate about creating healthy, beautiful smiles and approaches every case with the highest cosmetic standards in line with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) smile design principles. His specialty is taking on the cases others turn away — from full-mouth reconstructions and complex implant restorations to complete smile transformations — with a minimally invasive philosophy and a commitment to results that last. Every treatment plan is built around the individual, with as much time as it takes to do it right.

Born in Venezuela — where his mother practiced dentistry for over 25 years — Dr. Faltine grew up with a front-row seat to what dentistry looks like when it's done with genuine care for people. He is fluent in Spanish and has called Cypress home since opening MiraBella Smiles in 2016. Outside the office, he stays active through fitness and travel, and is deeply involved in the local community through charitable events and school initiatives. His warm sense of humor and gentle, unhurried approach make him the kind of dentist patients drive across Houston to see — and keep coming back to.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

I haven't been to the dentist in years. Will you judge me?

Not even a little. You'd be surprised how often we hear this — and how rarely the situation is as bad as people fear. We meet you where you are, without lectures or shame. The only thing that matters is that you're here now. Let's go from there.

Do you accept my insurance?

We accept most major PPO insurance plans, including Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Delta Dental, Humana, MetLife, United Healthcare, Guardian, and many more. Our team will handle the paperwork and make sure you're getting every benefit you're entitled to. Not sure if we take yours? Just call us at 713-376-7444 and we'll find out together.

What if I can't afford treatment right now?

We've been helping patients navigate this since 2017. We offer flexible financing through CareCredit and Cherry — both allow you to break treatment into manageable monthly payments. We'll never hand you a number and walk away. We sit down with you, go through your options, and find a path that fits your real life.

I have serious dental anxiety. Can you still help me?

Absolutely — and you're in the right place. We offer three levels of sedation: nitrous oxide to take the edge off, oral sedation for a deeper sense of calm, and IV sedation with a medical anesthesiologist for patients who want to sleep through the entire visit. You tell us your comfort level and we'll meet you there.

Do you handle complex cases or will I get referred out?

We handle the vast majority of cases right here in our office — implants, wisdom teeth, full-mouth reconstructions, TMJ treatment, sedation, and more. Dr. Faltine trained specifically to take on the cases other offices turn away. Very few things require a referral, and we'll always be upfront with you when they do.

Do you see kids?

Yes, we see patients of all ages. For younger patients who need more significant work, we make sure they leave with a good experience — not a traumatic one. Sedation is available for kids when it's the right call, so their first memories of the dentist aren't the ones that follow them into adulthood.

What can I expect on my first visit?

You'll be greeted by a team that's genuinely happy you came in. Before anything clinical starts, we take time to listen — what you're concerned about, what you've been putting off, what you're hoping for. From there, we build a plan together. No pressure, no overwhelm. Just a real conversation and a clear path forward.
